dewsbury is one of your nearest to Leeds and just minutes off the M1 plus its a local derby so should be a cracking game

But, note for Cockney, it is a 6pm kick off.

come train

I suppose if there's eight of them they could.

If you're in Leeds, try to get yourself over to Bradford for a curry. It'll be worth the detour.

And when you do get to Headingley, don't stand in the away end, the view is rubbish. Go in the Southstand for some proper Nothern erm, "charm".

Aye, best to stand with the winning team's supporters :D

There should be about 18,000 for the Leeds game and over 20,000 at Wigan.Dewsbury will be a good one in the Championship and near the M1,Hunslet is effectively south Leeds and again adjacent to the M1,but the crowd/game should be better at Dewsbury.
Headingley is the big student area of Leeds,so you could easily drink/eat in Headingley after the game, rather than going into Leeds city centre on thurs evening.

Your thurs schedule in Leeds!

Drive up and leave you people carrier at your central hotel.Get taxi/bus up to Headingley, about 3mls,say 6.00pm.Before game get onto North Lane, try fish and chips at Bretts(recommended by Englands cricketers) and/or drink/food at The Arc,followed by beer opposite at Headingley Taps.Walk 5 mins to ground.

After game, drink in Headingley by St Michaels church on Otley Rd.Two heaving pubs of students at the Original Oak and Skyrack - full of students and rugby supporters.Take taxi back to hotel.

Whatever happens, under no circumstances, make your way to the respectable areas of Leeds, such as Adel!

Enjoy your weekend.

ignore these M62 types trying to woo you. Get down to the Stoop and take your diet of regular humiliations like a man! How's London going to succeed if fans of the sport would rather go up to that there Yorkshire?

Featherstone has a decent sized car park. No idea about any of the other championship teams.
Headingley is street parking only

Decent parking at Dewsbury too, and as a neutral, that's the game I'd go for. If it's a bit late for you though, the Fev match kicks off at 1pm, so will be an early finish. I'm sure that the fans there (myself included) would make you all more than welcome. :) It's also fairly handy for the M62 and M1 if you're heading straight home from the game.

"Featherstone outside the Super League is like Rooney, Ronaldo, Villa out of Euro 2012."

No wives were all in our early to mid 20's we will be hitting the city centre in the evenings

Then I would advise a night out in Newcastle Saturday followed by a Gateshead game Sunday.

Or if that doesn't suit a big game at any of the Lancashire clubs (sadly excluding Salford currently) combined with Liverpool where any night is lively.

Yes i made it back safe and sound.

We didnt get to a championship game on the Monday we were too hungover.

But we loved the Leeds bradford and Wigan Saints games.

At Wigan they seem to find it incredible that 8 Londoners had travelled to watch it.

Next trip we are planning is to go away to Catalans.
