"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

The sending off IMO it wasn't intentional but still very dangerous. I don't think his size difference between himself and Campbell helped either. Whoever walked out at half time it serves you right!
Roll on the haven game.

So boo sucks yah to all the 'Fair Weather Fans' who were calling for Holty's head just before half time and some of who actually walked out!
Seriously......walked out???
I wasn't there due to work but wish I could have been.
When the Mrs text me in the second half I did have to ask her if she had left and gone to another game.
Great result.
