WELCOME TO NRL Round 2
... our second tipping competition the new season.
.
At least we've now had some games played giving us chance to start gauging teams' form and potential.
Everyone reading this is welcome to enter this weekly competition which runs throughout the season.
Whether you've taken part before or you fancy having a go this season for the first time you're guaranteed a warm welcome.
Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round
NB This round's first game is again on THURSDAY!!!

ROUND 2 QUESTIONS:

Which Round 2 game will produce the smallest margin of victory?
- enter in the poll itself at the top and put your answer in your posting.
The poll is anonymous so we can't give you credit unless it is in your predictions post.

Now the main event of the week:

*Match tipping Competition:
Name the 8 (that's EIGHT) winning teams in NRL Round 2 2013


*Points Competition
How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R2?
This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.


*AWAY Win Competition:
How many AWAY wins will there be in NRL R2 2013?

In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Animated awards will be given for the winner(s) of each competition question.
Match tipping scores will be added together as the season progresses to produce a Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page

Eels v Bulldogs. Could be a suprise Home win for the Eels and with the Doggies still lacking that bit of firepower & creativity it could happen

Dragons v Broncos .St Jarge to win this one, looking at last weeks performances Broncos were woeful while St's did reasonable against the Worlds Best Side

Warriors v Roosters. Again two sides that are struggling with their new Coachs philosophy & gameplans Feel the Roosters will shade it!

Cowboys v Storm. A tough one for Storm to win after a very hot & humid Sun pm game Townsville will be even more humid Home advantage on this one

Titans v Raiders. Should be a fairly straightforward win for the Titans as the Raiders not impressive and off field Player issues

Tigers v Panthers. I'm going with the heart on this one hoping Mick can turn them round and use the Home advantage, can't be as poor as last time surely?

Sea Eagles v Knights. A tough match for both but on last round performances I take Knights to shade it!

Rabbitohs v Sharks. I can't see the Bunnies extending any on field sympathy to the Sharks and should win comfortably

Tonight I spent the entire game ####### myself laughing as the wings fell off 'The Hayne Plane'
Not sure what was worse ?
An Eels team were every player thought he was the playmaker & game winner
Or a dogs team that spent an entire half playing "lets bash it up the middle,then kick somewhere"

Enjoyed the game. Plenty of points in first half, none in second. Perversely I think I enjoyed the second half more.

Just seen your post BR.
Eels often got into scoring positions in the second half and couldn't come up with ideas to break through.
Whereas Sandow was in the game giving 100% and then some, where was Jayne hiding?
At least Doggies have some good players to come back into team.
