If anyone ever accuses Rugby League fans of being conspiracy theorists, remind them that it's all relative. :o

Between the optimist & the pessimist
The difference is quite droll:
The optimist sees the doughnut,
The pessimist sees the hole.

To be fair to him he does point out that the reason he was wrong is that at the time of the speech he had no idea of any of the facts of the case.

This is the guy who claimed he could raise a mob to 'March on parliament' when he was kicking off about something else. Very statesman like.

Unfortunately the people who Lord Ahmed believes to be the chief conspirators are all too predictable.

What if hes right.......<Takes off tinfoil hat>

Ok back to reality.

How can someone with such bigoted views get so far. Had he been white, lower middle class and Christian he would not have got anywhere near his position and no doubt would have got as far as being a Local Councillor somewhere before saying something bigoted which he would be forced to resign for and makes a few lines in the nation newspapers causing embarrassment to his party for a day or two but got no further.

The labour party went out to recruit asian members, it wasn't particularly bothered what those members believed as long as they delivered seats in council wards and inner city parliamentary seats.

This is one of the results, an ex MP, a peer of the realm whose religious beliefs belong in the arabian peninsula 1500 years ago
