Well done Finny

He now has both the longest appearance and scoring runs in the professional game. Thursday nights match meant that he has now played in Rovers last 92 matches scoring in the most recent 52. Good to see that our coach can make players develop into the best they can be lets hope he keeps going

Any way the Sky Sports team can manipulate this so the record actually goes to Kevin Sinfield?

Actually the scoring run is now 53 games. He's got the all-time Fev record (breaking Steve Quinn's record) but the all-time RL record is David watkins on 90 odd games, so well over a year to go on that yet.

Finn is close to the all-time Rovers record for consecutive matches however. I didn't want to publicise it in case we jinx him. But he's close. Again the RFL record is a long way off, Keith Elwell at about 235 (IIRC)

According to the last yearbook of the RL Record Keepers' Club (1992) Kieth Elwell played in 239 consecutive games for Widnes between May 1977 and September 1982. Even more amazing - if substitute appearances are included his run was 240 plus two as substitute.

In a test case the RFL are trying to prove that Liam Finn is an imposter and that his shirt since 2010 has been worn by Kevin Sinfield.
