The problem is if you don't aim to better yourselves what is the point in playing the sport? Would you be happy with Fev playing in this league forever? I certainly wouldn't because if that was the case we would end up playing Oldham again in champ one. I don't know if you watched Fev through that period but that's when Fev were dire and only the die hards turned up every week to watch the garbage we were then.

It wasn't just Fev that were dire in those days. The opposition were dire, the refs were dire, the crowds were dire, no-one wanted to play for us. Thank god that Tony Kenny came along and gave us the boost we needed.
Matt - send us some players from Tonga

I doubt we would be in the champ forever matt with nowhere to go I doubt mr Campbell and feisal would stick around do you? We would be back down at the lowest level playing the dire rugby and on our knees again.Mr Campbell and feisal haven't pumped in all this money and hard work for us to be a champ club forever matt. It would kill the teams outside of SL if P&R was cut off forever. Sport is about dreams without the dreams you don't have a sport IMO.

So now you need a sugar daddy just to stay in the Championship.

Things are worse than I thought.

Richie stop causing trouble πŸ˜‰. No chairman in their right mind would stick around in a sport if there was no where to go. What would be the point? They would just be throwing money at a dead horse.

Yet a lot of chairmen still do stick around.

Is this just another throwaway Thundergaz line ?

Ok I should of put the die hard chairmans will stick around or the nutcases. Also who are these chairmen your talking about? Because I don't see any in our sport. You may say the likes of York and hunslet etc but I don't see them settling for where they are. Every chairmen trys and wants to better their club I don't care what you say.

Yes also true but I bet if P&R was cut off for good chairmen would start to walk.
