We didn't cheat him out of £50,000 like he did us when we signed him and he stopped playing.

Didn't Karl Harrison call us cheats last year about tackling? Makes you wonder if they are worried or jealous about us. The authorities ought to take action against people airing views such as this as it does no good for the game! But they will turn a blind eye.

Should he not get charged with bringing the game into disrepute for accusing another team of cheating in comments to the press?

Well gaz I've got to say I've just watched the game back all be it in a quick fashion but everything we did the eagles team did exactly the same thing they were offside at every PTB and I mean every PTB. So if we cheat as mr Aston puts it then his side must be cheating too. But yes he should be getting called up by the RFL.

It seemed to work for him, especially at the NRC Final when Rovers had seemed unstoppable before then. When you are at the top, opposition coaches work harder to find ways of bringing you down, and brainwashing the referees is one of them, but their little grubber kicks near the line weren't bad either!
Rovers' style of play is starting to get sussed by the smarter teams, but I'm sure Daryl will soon come up with something new. At one time the attitude was that we didn't worry about the opposition, we just let them worry about us. But now we have to study Sheffield and Fax for their strengths and weaknesses, and who's better than Powell to do that?

I think Powell will get it right when it matters this season but he needs to too because 2 seasons without any final wins isn't good enough. But when he does tubbs and rhino will only find something else to whinge about.

He got the rest in pork pies the little space hopper he is😄😄😄. But on a serious note for wages payed he must of been one if not the worst player to wear a Fev shirt barring currier but that wasn't his fault. Even Jeff Grayson at 50 was better 😄😄😄

Just more efforts to control these gutless referees that are in the game... these 2 (Harrison and Aston) call the shots and referees 'ref' accordingly to their orders.

disgusting.

No matter how fair a ref may want to be these comments do stick in the sub conscious. We didn't get any of the 50/50 calls and they were offside countless times without being penalised. We should by now also have a big feller when we are near our line to knock Yere over. What was it 30 tackles on the trot and a few penalties missed we should have had in that period . On the other side of things our props drove in in a great fashion but what about a bit of unloading in the tackle lads?

Taking the thread off topic as I didn't know where else to post this but Ive just realised ok we lost Thursday but at least we have picked up our first bonus point in 2 seasons when we lose we normally lose big so that changes the trend maybe it will change our luck where the finals are involved this season now we have changed the trend😉

Yere always seems to play well against us with his strength out wide. Maybe it would be best to put Bostock opposite him in defence? Bozzy's only weakness in defence is against extreme pace or quick little half-backs, of which Yere is/has neither!

Very good point Steve. But If this Aussie is a centre which I think we desperately need at the minute I doubt he would be a make shift centre just with the fact he's an Aussie and their average player over their is generally a good player over here. But I guess we will find out more about him in the pont & Fev tomorrow.
