If a Super League player plays in the next round of the Challenge Cup for a Championship club, are they then cup-tied?

For example, if Dwyer played for Swinton, would this then mean Warrington couldn't play him in future rounds should Monaghan and Higham be injured or ill?

As things currently stand I believe they will be cup tied. Unless someone knows different.

Any dual reg player can play for either team in the comp but not for or against the clubs they are dual reg with.

Fear not, it will all have been carefully thought through by the RFL and it'll simply be a matter or consulting the bye-laws. Like it was with Thackray.

So what you are saying Manx rl if one team plays on saturday and the other on sunday he can play for both be on dual reg ??

Now that the competition takes (seemingly) three or four years to complete, there comes a point (quarter finals, is it ?) where all bets are off and you can play for a second club.

Yep I seem to remember there is a cup-tied deadline well into the tournament.
