Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little.

Totally agree with you 100%...but in this ever changing world we live in, I hope your and my sentiments prevailThis 'merger' codswallop was first mooted years ago when the Sky meddlers arrived on the scene. People who seriously propose such abominations are, to put it mildly, completely off their rockers and don't even begin to understand what the game and, above all, the people who follow their clubs, is all about. It's about communities, large and small, the clubs who represent them and individual local histories, cultures and identities. Mergers as such are simply, UNNATURAL, full stop, say no more.

Totally agree.
You would have thought the feelings of RL supporters were made clear enough when Uncle Mo made his grand announcement that the game would sell its soul to Sky.
Sometimes authorities just find other ways to achieve their end objective, but do so in a more roundabout manner!
Its a very strange concept, to "merge" with a club that doesn't plan to exist for another 2 years. But it also wouldn't be the greatest suprise ever to discover that John and Paul Kidd might view Belle Vue as an option worth exploring in the event that Agecroft is not going to happen any time soon.

Play in championship one and dual reg our whole squad to them
We'd possibly get funding for two clubs using the one ground.
