Can't wait for this weekend. York Lokos first apperance in the York Cup and also an Acomb derby to boot. Any idea what Heworth are doing in York Cup not entered?

Not many NCL sides enter local cups these days.

Thinking more their 2nds, they have done most years.

That's the beauty of the District Cups MMP, it gives the lower ranked teams (no offence intended) a chance to be competitive and maybe collect some silverware.

The York club are going "Loco" just by being included in their district competition for the first time let's hope that they enjoy the occasion.

Fond memories of playing against Clifton Moor and the Groves then enjoying great hospitality in the Chained Bull.

Lokos vs acorn
All blacks vs selby

I'm guessing they have a bye!
