Monday will see a first for the Hawks when the club will hold a music recording session in the Phoenix Suite for our new rock anthem “Hunslet Rocks”.

After the recent recording and updating of the clubs famous anthem “We've swept the seas before boys” the club asked music producer James Jelliman if we could try and create an up-tempo rock tune that encapsulates the feel good factor around the club.

It was club Chairman’s Neil Hampshire idea to make a cover version of the rock tune “Cleveland Rocks” by Ian Hunter and change the lyrics to incorporate lyrics about Hunslet, rugby league and the South Leeds area.

We want directors, supporters, staff, and players to help us record our new rock anthem. So please join us in the Phoenix Suite at 11am on Easter Monday, as we will be recording the chorus and verses for the new track!

It's your chance to be a "RockStar" for a day and make Hunslet history!
