What a great game in front of a massive crowd. I thought the Doggies looked up for it early on, ultimately though the strength and speed of the bunnies proved too much for them. Souths managed to wrap up the returning Ben Barba. Ennis going off didn't help the Canterbury cause. Still he crocked himself with what looked like an attempted shoulder charge against a bigger man who was motoring. Two good teams.

Premier Sports TV not in HD here. They've said they will need more subscribers to justify the extra expense.
I enjoy watching all the games even if it's only to see good weather! B)

Ennis was definitely missed by the Dogs in the 2nd half, the Bunnies still struggled to get away from them, of the 2 sides I can see the Dogs being stronger as the season progresses. George Burgess has certainly made an impact as I'm sure Tom will when he gets his chance!

One day, a team will have to defend an all-Burgess set of tackles!

I cant wait for that, it will be hyped up beyond insanity! Luke was in the 17 regularly last year so should be there or there abouts once fit again, so its a case of Tom getting his chance to shine! He's playing in the lower grades still at the moment which is what George did initially so he wont be far off!

Maybe not this year, but definitely next year!
