Don't think it will be problem getting up for this game, most important Home match of the season, .and remember a win will retain the IKE trophy. Come on Town.

Again we take 25 minutes to start and only after we've gave the usual couple of prezzies.

It was a knock-on-a-thon to be honest but that added to the games excitement. I think we just shaded them in errors as well as on the scoreboard and it was only our un-forced errors that kept them in the game. For Town, Callum Phillips, Karl Olstrum and jamie Acton were outstanding and deserved to share the MotM award.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

I don't mind Lupton to be fair but it wasn't a game for a stand out player, we have got 2 games Leigh away and challenge cup at home to get a 17 to gel with half backs and a bench and a matty
