Adam has left the club and re-signed for Salford. Town have received a transfer fee for him. All the best to the lad for the future.

Workington Town. Then. Now. Always.

Can't blame him . Shouldn't have released him in the first place.

Adam has done very well for us and always gave us 100% effort. I'm sure all Town fans wish him nothing but good luck in Super League.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

Spend the money wisely Town, wonder if we can survive the season using DR youngsters and spend the money on signing up the top amateurs after the next barla tour?

That extra creative string puller or strike player on the back of our pack grunt could easy be the difference between relegation scrap or mid table safety . Either way id really like to keep seeing Connor closer to the action and keep putting up those great Aussie style bombs .

Looking at him physically he just screams half , and he should be wanting to play there and take a grip on matters . He's Australian , he won't lack confidence !!! And with Carcassones Aussie halves it should start there . They love going head to head , and it's a relatively low pressure game to have a fresh approach .
