Once upon a time our defence used to be our strongest point. Where has it gone?

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

If your doing overtime defending , time n time again , your just gonna break . Hold on to the ball , give yourself
a breather .... No can't sorry.

we need to start picking up bonus points in defeats, barrow have won 1 game but are only 3points behind us, keighley winning just drags us right back into the fight and makes our home game with them in 2 weeks another must win game.

Our away form has to be an attitude thing, we don't seem to compete with any intensity away from DP

Workington Town. Then. Now. Always.

You could write this script. You make your home games so important and high pressure doing this . We have a mentality at home and
a different one away . But let's be honest , when you watch us at home you can see how we get shellacked away .

Why don't we just send a message down to all our away opponents to say they can have the points, it'll save on costs.? Where's our Pelican Garage?

So it's on 8 home games then ....looking at our away games boy there's some horrendous ones !
Dunno why I'm bothering here when they don't . Leighite slags Dowes off for doing nothing ... And Forber
knocks on . Lovely.
