I'd like to think our current home form will help us take this one.
Widnes - Super League's newest Club, and Cheshire's Original Glamour Club. Watch out Warrington, we're back !

Widnes by 12 - they seem to be fairly secure at home now.

Close game, with one score in it. The winner? I have no idea, depends who is fit for Salford.

in the betts scheme of things he will put out the strongest team possible for this game, as he has no doubt targetted it for a win. widnes by 16 to 20 points in a comfortable home win........
"Why is Napoleon crying ?" said one sailor to the other, "poor ###### thinks he's being exiled to st helens" came the reply.

I very much doubt it will be "comfortable".

Your argument in favour of Widnes applies equally to Salford, so I think it will be close. Salford by one score.

I remember last season, we were obv targetting this fixture as a comfortable 2pts and we got whooped so it would be wise to treat Salford with a little more respect. It will be close, both sides will be gunning for this.....perhaps only 4 pts in it......hopefully Widnes' way

Viking Warrior has 'issues' with Salford. The likelihood is that this will be a competitive scrap.

I was a little bit worried last week when I read the post match quote from Paul Anderson after the 62-6 result -'They've one eye on next week and what they've got coming up.'It seems apart from one loss the home record is what Betts is concentrating on,and a victory over Warrington in the last home game tells the story.
Looking forward to the battle of the second rows - our former Saints against 2 given another chance.( I do admire Betts for this - and the owner O'Connor for sticking with Betts despite some results in The championship and Super League.)
I am a little bit worried about the pace of Hansbury.Either my concern is correct or it may just be the heavy pitches;the artificial surface at Widnes may suit Salford.
I don't expect either donkey in the Grand National with Viking in it's name to win,and Sunday will make it a hat-trick of defeats.

A great first half by Widnes, who lead 28-12.

If it wasn't for a poor performance by the man in the middle it would be a greater margin.
