Like westhuller, I suddenly found I could only post using my phone and not my PC, unless I posted using IE rather than Google Chrome. I much prefer GC as it's so much faster than IE so I deleted GC and reinstalled it, to no avail. Went on internet options and deleted my browsing history, again to no avail. Then I noticed that GC still had my favourites stored so went on the tools menu, like tonyxiii, and deleted my last four weeks of browsing on that menu instead.

Success! :)

I'm not much of a tecchie so does anybody know why clearing your browsing history on internet options doesn't clear GC browsing history?

Sorry if this is a stoopid question. :(

Another forum posting issue.

My posts are sensible, coherent, well-written, accurate, persuasive, incisive and objective. However for some reason the post of those who don't see things my way are, not to put too fine a point on it, rubbish!

Could that be a software issue, too?

Yes, mate, it is. There is a problem with the software between your ears. ;)

Only kidding. There's nowt wrong there. We must try and meet up at a game - perhaps one of the RLWC fixtures. You going to any?

Oh yes.  Sadly will miss Magic Weekend, might try to get to Hull FC on 16th August.  .  Anyway, at my age, my hardware is turning into my software!

I can't get to the KC in August as I'll be in Greece, topping up my tan. I'll see what the fixtures are for the RLWC nearer the time and PM you. Take care.

Maggie's fault!

Everyone point and boo!! :P

It's Gus Mackay surely - London Broncos hapless CEO is responsible for this, and the recent cold weather snap y'know.

I am an oil trader and successful at that but, but marketing, finance, business management, human resources etc are not my strengths

Being an outsider, it is easiest to see what is wrong with the sport. It's a fantastic sport that has been undersold and under-marketed  because people who run it probably want to keep it the way it is

Latest response from the Invision support desk below. I've supplied them with a link to this thread too, so they can see how much hassle this is causing everyone.

Go into the chrome "customize and control" bit, (the three horizontal lines in the top right hand corner), click on "history", and clear the last four weeks browsing data.

IE, Chrome and Firefox will now work for me but on pressing 'post' the green thinking boxes appear and 'saving' appears but then the page does not refresh on its own. The page has to be reloaded manually and then the new post is there.

Use the 'More Reply Options' button and then 'Add Reply' instead of the 'Post' button on the quick reply form, that seems to result in fewer problems.

Seems a little different posting YouTube videos, these are no longer recognised automatically as media, or the three slhighlights vids so far today have followed this.

Isn't this a bit like taking your car for a service then being told by the mechanic what to mend?

More like buying a new car and discovering that the gearbox only works in reverse, one of the wheels is missing and the handbrake lever operates the indicators.

I was a bit annoyed by the text coming out as plain text, URLs not being recognised, etc. then I noticed that nice little light-switch icon top left of the quick-post editor.  Flicked it and now can post without problem.
