Toulouse at home. Tricky one, they thrashed Swinton! All or nothing really, they won't bring any supporters (I'm guessing) and if we lose that's a fair bit of cash we could lose out on.

It's time to park the camels.

Terrible draw - very few travelling fans and a better side than when we played them in 2011 !!

Awful draw for us financially , can't see there being any Toulouse fans tbh , so lets hope we can win & draw a biggie in next round

Tough one. Everything depends on the win. If you do then it should be quids in in the next round, if you lose, I suspect it will be a loss maker!

The London v Fev tie could be interesting, can Fev knock a S/L team out 2 years running?, think the televised games will be HKR v Saints and Leeds v Cas;.

Think we have to start pushing this game as soon as poss if we want a decent crowd, how about a fancy dress comp where fans come as French people with onions and garlic lol.

Good idea - good game to experiment on possible things to get some fans back.

On the pitch, at home with our full 'non dual reg' side with hopefully Scott, Brown, Browne & Ford

will go ok against most sides. Looking at the draw, a big incentive to do well in this game, also need

to remember Swinton will have suffered more than most in the cup due to their way of doing dual reg....

Having seen Swinton play all their games so far this season i must say Toulouse are the best i have seen even though we have already played Halifax, Leigh and Featherstone.  You will need to be at your very best to get through this one but good luck.

As we know, the attendance for the cup match is going to suffer due to a lack of away fans, so why not put on a "pay what you like" enterance fee for the match.

Sell the match as "an opportunity to watch the Knights for as little as £1"

Along with this there could be squadbuilder buckets on the turnstiles for the regular fans to put in the money that they are saving.

I appriciate that this promo reduces the gate receipt for both clubs, but it is an opportunity to try and get some fringe fans back as well as the supporters of other clubs who live in and around York.

Also, as mentioned in another thread, why not see if any of the local teams want to play in some sort of curtain raiser??

Just a thought to put out there!!!!!

Riggy - point I was making was what team did you have out against Fax, Fev etc compared

with your team against Toulouse - remembering your line up against us, you must have been seriously

down on numbers

Financially we need to win it so we can get a decent pay day in the next round. It'll cost us more to put on than we get on the gate without some seriously inventive marketing.

We have 10 days to get people talking about the game, lets get started.

Really hope not - at a do at York Racecourse that Saturday night so that might mean a few

regulars less on the attendance.....
