Maltby shut yesterday leaving just 2 in yorkshire, the shaft will need filling, would be a good start

I remember reading a sticker on a lamp post in Wakey that thered be a huge party in Wakefield City Centre the day after Thatcher died... todays the day.. I got myself a party hat (with a lamp on it of course) and im on my way.

On the day of the "state funeral" all the mining, or as, now ex-mining areas should organize large street parties and get some publicity. What goes around, comes around.

If she was roofless as has been implied, as a Thatcher would she be out of work? Lived through it worked through it and among it.

Lots of villains in the full story including her and Scargill. Talk about wheels within wheels. Say no more.

my thoughts are who is paying for all the razzmatazz bet its coming out of the tax payer which  disgusts me even more and if anyone steps out of line regarding the funeral they will be arrested how ironic is that the iron lady will not lie down.

:lol: It is nice to see both sides of the argument put forward for a balanced debate for someone who had on three occasions won the majority of the british electoral vote and who saved the UK

strike..nor had to live through it.

however love or loath featherstone
trying a cheap wind up ir a little out of order.

these events dont warrant cheap jibes mate

I have no problem whatsoever about people debating both sides of the argument, but on this occassion your post did not fall into this category of balanced debate. You deliberately set out to wind people up with your jibes and cheap shots on a very delicate issue.
