I think there's an echo bomber!!!!!!

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

John Patrick out Mossop on the wing - Simples!
Can't really say Patrick done that much to justify keeping his place. (Not that he done anything wrong, just think Mossop is better)

Charlo said on Sunday that Calders is waiting to go for a scan on his knee and might need an op so might be out for a while.

I thought Dowes did better on Sunday , he'll be there . I'd go with your halves but keep Lupton at 13 , he looks so at home there. Olstrum is a lethal bench player , cover anywhere , dynamic dummy half and will rip up tiring defences . And that's not a sleight on him - its a 17 man game and you can play the same amount of game time coming on as starting . Look at Thacks last year . A strong bench of impact players is key , and boy does he impact . I repeat its not a negative like football , it's a squad game with players always rotating on the pitch who are dangerous .Some top coaches keep a threatening player on the bench for when the stings gone out of the arm wrestle . Luptons not really the same kind of impact bench player , he's a string puller . Callum , Matty , Karl and Connor - that's a great middle and rotation for the full 80 . But they'll stick to what they've been doing anyway most probably so it's just good crack !
