Once again George Galloway is making himself look... not entirely clever.

See here

Saying things like "South Korea exists because America invaded Korea, killed millions of people, divided the country and continues to garrison South Korea with military bases, nuclear weapons, chemical and biological weapon."

Which is odd because I'd swear that Korea was split at the end of WW2 after Japanese occupation, and was then split between the USA and USSR.

Galloway will support anything that is anti American it seems. No time for the man. And when talking of this innocent society he forgets to mention the starvation nd frequent black outs. As for the him not wanting to live there, thats the point george, no one would.

I'm a huge fan of George galloway and that link you posted is heavily edited by a person called "gallowaywatch" who uploads hundreds of heavily edited clips of George Galloway in order to make him look anti-semetic, anti-American and pro Islamic fundamentalism.

Opposing US foreign policy doesn't make you anti-American, it makes you anti the US empire and US imperialism.

its a free country. Of course, opposing US  foreign policy might just make you mistaken. Start nearer home. Everywhere we poke our noses in seems to descend into chaos.

It seems the article is by Jessica Elgot, who used to work for the Jewish Chronicle. The video at the top wasn't what I was talking about (and I haven't watched it). You have to admit thought Galloway has his facts completely wrong on the separation of North and South Korea, and frankly looks silly if you actually have any knowledge of the subject.

me too. Who can forget his appearance in Celebrity Big Brother? His appearances on Question Time  really cheer me up and it is great to have someone around who makes even me look good.

Another astonishing performance from Galloway tonight on Calendar.

No surprise he didnt like Mrs Thatcher but to attempt to prevent those current MPs who were her friend and collegue from attending her funeral is beneath contempt

Galloway absolutely monstered Christine Talbot didn't he. Serve ITV right for (to me) being a bit less than impartial in its questioning.

I saw his blog/tv thing from his respect website yesterday about Thatcher it was explosive. He said a few weeks ago the bbc and other media outlets absolutely savaged Hugo Chavez after he died, and now they are having this right wing eulogy and telling us not to speak ill of a dead old lady.

but you and I weve been through that and this is not our fate.
So let us so let us not talk falsely now.

Is it any surprise he feels this way? The man said the day the Soviet Union collapsed was the worst day of his life. He regularly sides with Islamic fundamentalist regimes, the guy is a clown.

And now he calls Miliband  "an unprincipled coward with the backbone of an amoeba".

It doesn't take a lot of editing. He comes across that way at the best of times.

I've been to South Korea a couple of times. It's a vibrant, go ahead couintry with technology far in advance of ours, the peoples' standard of living is by Western standards as good as it gets. I've seen pictures of the North.  Galloway's either crackers or just trying to be controversial to keep his name in front of people.
