Massive game this Sunday, a win could see us go 4 points in front of Swinton.

With the introduction of Haley to the squad and hopefully Hood back from injury we should have enough to go there and get the points. Im going for an away win:

Swinton 12 - 28 Hunslet Hawks

Games between Hunslet and Swinton are nearly always close tense affairs, on a big wide pitch weve got to get the ball out wide and run a few tries in preferably under the sticks.Got to stop Ian Watson and Mark Smith controlling the ruck, if we do that we win.

Will be a battle of the packs this one! If our pack fails to dominate we'll undoubtedly get outclassed in the halves by players like Watson, I'anson and Smith and with Swinton's strike players such as Kevin Penny, Andy Ballard and Martin Ainscough there's a real potent attacking threat, that will again undoubtedly score points if we find ourselves on the back foot.

Upfront for the Lions the likes of Mills, Cooper and Hawkyard are no pushovers and all have plenty of technical ability but I think we should have more than enough pace and quality to dominate the forwards battle particuarly with the addition of Haley this week.

IF our pack can win the red and amber zone battle we should have more than an adequate platform for the creative players to create the space and opportunities for freescoring Welham and Keinhorst and potentially come away with a solid and convincing victory.

Andy Ballard was released by Swinton last month.

Tyrone McCarthy, Rhys Williams and Gareth O'Brien are all in the Swinton squad for Sunday.

Should be a great game as Hunslet / Swinton matches are always fairly close.

First away match of the season. Can't wait.

Hunslet: STILL the city's only club to win all competitions in one season.
