im sure there were a few Sydney clubs interested.. Russell Crowe seemed to be.. but Sydney clubs, and Aussie clubs in general never pay transfer fee's.. which would have been the biggest stumbling block for them i think.

Fantastic news!  I really like how all the money in Oz RL is making it a more "international" tournament.  Makes it more fun and interesting for all those involved.

Logan Tomkins wouldn't be a big loss to Wigan, he's had a few good games but a lot of average ones. Hardly set the world alight.


Much like Luke Burgess before he left. If they landed him he would come in handy as a bench/reserve hooker. You'd have to think playing first grade with his brothers would be an attractive proposition for Joel as well.

Are'nt the NZ Warriors switching to Eden Park in 2014. The mecca of Kiwi-AB rugby with more than 30,000 on wont feel too much of a let down to Saracens and their post stamp sized patch at Barnet.
