Meli always has brainfarts, which is one reason why I am constantly bemused as to why the club continue to re-sign him.  He has now left us one man down when we were already useless.

Yeah but he doesn't usually make mistakes of that nature to be fair to him, not that that helps us now.

Shocker from Meli - Hall is lucky to have escaped serious injury as the whiplash on his neck looked horrific. Saints certainly look more aggressive under Brown - late tackles and shoulder charges a plenty.

Craig Sandercock's just asked the match commissioner if they can let Meli back on.

Tremendous goal line defence again from Saints.

Yes, aggressive in the wrong sense.  Instead of having manic forwards driving us, er, forward, we have (on the whole) docile forwards giving away penalties and lining up bans.  I'd prefer the former kind to the latter.

The replays on the BBC have been terrible. A severe lack of cameras compared to sky.

One game this weekend, poor RL WC promo at HT. prob as much their fault as RFLs.

The BBC obviously care not, for RL. Time for a new broadcaster please!

How on Earth has Dobson been selected as MoM ahead of Eden?

Oh well, that was always the likely outcome even before the red card.

Maybe this further lack of achievement will push us towards making the signings that we so desperately need, though I'd be amazed if anyone is brought in before the start of 2014 so i guess for the second year in a row we're writing the season off at an early stage.

A big congratulations to Hull KR who were worthy winners today.

Cracking game, fair play to saints to make a game of it. Hull kr might sneak into a semi, good looking crowd and atmos coming across on telly.

Don't see the issue with the WC promo, surely anything is better than nothing. A decent mention before, during and after the CC games on the BBC is worth millions in terms of commercial exposure.

At HT, it was terrible! It wasn't the most inspiring story. It shoulda been the biggest advert the RFL has ever made. Not just for the fact it is World Cup year and the roll a successful one is so valuable to next year and any viewing potential sponsors, investors, I can go on.

Are we an exciting sport for a new world, cause all that story left me thinking is, hmm WC in 195.. whatever year. Oh, look at all that old coverage, how nice.

when it should of had music, NRL footage, interviews, explosions, ........ and anything better than explosions!

The worst part of it all....

effectively it is one of the fewest op's the sport gets to advertise for free to its largest audiences of each year to come up with the advertisement of their lives.

Both RFL and BBC should be ashamed!

Thank Christ it was such a good game.
