Looking at his latest article in the Sun he appears to predict a mass exodus from Warrington:

Ryan Atkins - chased by Union

Adrian Morley - Salford

Stefan Ratchford - Salford

Garreth Carvell - Hull

Ben Westwood - Wakefield

He also states that Wire will miss out on Clark.

As a Wire fan, this would appear a touch worrying, especially Atkins, Ratchford and Westwood - however I suppose my question is, has Dave Parker EVER predicted anything right?

Other rumours this week:

> Daryl Powell to Cas

> Roy Asotasi to Bulls

> NZ Warriors interested in young British forwards from Wigan, Wire, Sheffield and Dewsbury.

How does he get, and keep a job?

I read this with interest, I'm gonna start keeping tabs on these rumours, just in a list, so I can see how many actually come to fruition.

Only when he takes it out of a local paper and credits it to "a source tells me".

It's would assume he gets his news off the forums or just makes it up.

Was thinking this thread can be used for that purpose as the bloke has been a joke for years and when you come across articles like this you just shake your head as he could simply be making this up and somehow he gets it published.

I've never met him, but from his articles he comes across as one of those gullible blokes in the pub who claims to have the inside news because he has sat and listened to every bit of gossip in there.

Indeed, although you're in charge of keeping it up to date! That means you have to read everything he puts online. :P

Last week it was about him being confirmed in the next few days. So yeh, more reporting than rumour.

You only have to read his page in League Weakly. It's tangentially related to Rugby League only in that it covers what RL individuals are/aren't doing off the field.

ie player who is banged up afetr an incident outside a nightclub

a former player who is now mine(sic) hot at a Rochdale pub

stuff about Doncaster

an arcane reference to rugby league that he's seen on telly-a copy of Forty Twenty that he's seen on sale i the kabin for instanec and how good that is for the game's profile.

his heirachy of 'mates': ie good mate, very good mate, realy close mate, rally very close good mate. really great mate.

people who played 'under him' for Mansfield Marksman, who are now 'mine host' etc etc.

Throw in a bit of casual sexism and you're in business.

Nephew of former Fev Player gets job in Australia.

Rangi Chase may leave Cas.

Saints may sign Hull KR player in 18 months or, maybe, sooner. Or not.

Charity tipping league.

Ex GB team doctor dies.

Family of a 50s Hull player who died three years ago leaves his medals to RL heritage organisation.

Referees don't get paid much/Ganson bashing.

Two Brian McDermotts in Leeds.

Shaun Briscoe karaoke night.

Well most of his ramblings certainly usually rhyme with "write".
