yesterday lunchtime,

'Rangi chases departure from castleford may have moved a step closer today after favourites to sign him,  st george illawara dragons, sold jamie soward to penrith panthers. Chase would be a direct positional replacement for soward'

was curious so googled it, it is happening for next years nrl season.

well done to ts for trying to make a story where there isnt one (yet....)

Now the Dragons have confirmed the signing of Gareth Widdop, I expect him to partner either Nathan Fien (who hs played every minute of the season so far) in the halves, or should they sign Rangi Chase, partner Widdop and Chase with Fien going back to hooker. Gerard Beale is unlikely to be ousted from the full back spot. That is what I reckon as it stands, although relatively hypothetical until more signings are confirmed.

They could have the England half backs then! That would be a first for NRL!
