Spoke to him last week during a school's festival. He's switched back to play for Wales.

I didn't say that they did. You asked for a quote from Rhys Evans saying he was choosing England over Wales, I provided one.

It was more this bit I was interested in:

 

 effectively told the world that we were rubbish into the bargain

 

There was nothing like that at all, picking England over Wales doesn't mean Wales are rubbish, just like if he'd have picked Wales over England wouldn;t have been a slur on England.

There was nothing like that at all, picking England over Wales doesn't mean Wales are rubbish, just like if he'd have picked Wales over England wouldn;t have been a slur on England.


I can't quote it directly whilst posting from my phone, but the bit where he says 'we want to play in the big tournaments and hopefully win them', whilst not directly saying that outright, doesn't exactly paint the Welsh side as being up to much, does it? Especially as we play in the same tournaments as England, and that both brothers would be more likely to be select for Wales than England in those tournaments.

but Wales dont play in the same tournaments.
England are guaranteed to play 4N both here and abroad. Wales arent.
