A project I am involved in, researching and protecting the heritage of VFC which was QLD's first club and won 24 BRL Premierships. Also a big focus on educating people on the BRL.

I've been scanning the DIEHARD DIGEST magazines, so check them out too.

Enjoy and keep in touch for future updates. We have a big back log of articles and photos ready to put up.

Had a lady send in some pictures of BRL Premiership pennants from 1957, they were her father's, Geoff O'Brien.

Didn't Wally Lewis play for Valleys at one time of his career?

You bet he did, he was also a Valleys Junior and he is at every annual Valleys reunion he can attend. The King takes off his crown there.

You can read more about Wally's career at VFC here - CLICK HERE

Thanks to Gerry Fitzpatrick, former Valleys player and RL historian for the fantastic article.

I remember him playing here in the 80's

My team played his Wakefield Trinity team in a league game at Belle Vue and he steered them all round the pitch and on to victory that day.

I can remember thinking I'd seen a very special player that day - as hard as it was to see my team lose.

Didn't Valleys have a strong rivalry with Brothers? I recall the idea of them merging. That was about 12 years ago.
