I'd have wondered about one of Hulme or Briscoe , that would have enabled that shift for Connor . Be interesting to see what they do when Calders returns in terms of Kayle , that would give them a bit more of a chance to be flexible .

I agree David, but I don't think either (based on the T&S story) have been included in the squad for Sunday. the return of Calderwood would indeed allow players to move into their best positions.

If Patrick plays on the wing could Connor not play half back?

Says in Star that Ben Kavanagh will play for town tomorrow . That's good but I'm surprised there's not a back there to . Still no Coyle , that punt's not looking the best at the minute is it ? Calders hoping to be back training at the back end of the week . Good news , he gives us an edge on the flank and has shown his true self this year .

I dont get too much wrong do I David  B)

Good man , you're doing well . Here's hoping , it would be massive . Away wins are priceless and give great opportunities to go back to back and really make a mark on the table .

Widnes look a distinctly average mob . I know it's all relative and I'm not saying we' ll win , but they shouldn't give our players any nightmares and on our patch we should be looking to be very competitive .

Widnes have been poor on all the sky games this year and recently not playing well at all.if you saw Widnes earlier in the season we where a different team.Brown and Isa have been rubbish and I would play Craven before Brown at the moment.Cant believe Flynn dropped for ISA.

What about haven with -8 then is that a good bet?
Barrow -4 v swarrington
Leigh v Batley is scratch
Keighley +12 against seagulls
Hunslet -6 v York
Fev -8 v fax
Some hard picks among that lot.
My handicap picks would be Donny, Town, swarrington,Leigh, seagulls, hunslet, Fev .
The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

Connor named at scrum half today so hopefully we'll see what he can do if our pack gets their usual go forward.

Workington Town. Then. Now. Always.
