Hi folks

As someone who is both employed and self-employed, I don't have a lot of time left for business development. I've had a very basic, free web page up and running for about 18 months but I'm now finally getting round to improving my web presence and google optimisation.

I've had a quote from someone who says it will cost about £1,500 for a very basic but professional looking website. It sounds exactly what I need as its not too interactive and won't be constantly updated, but this seems expensive for something that is 'entry level'.

Do any TRLers have experience of purchasing websites from professional developers and, if so, does the quote above sound about right?

Alternatively, is there anyone out there who you can recommend I use?

Any other advice?

thanks

Mark
