What a great first half. Both teams giving 100%. Probably the best half of competitive RL so far this season. That is apart from scoring. Just 2 points scored before half time whistle. No half measures here though. Hope the second half is same again with some tries. This is a must see game in front of yet another big crowd.

Second half - South like a steam train, Manly look shell shocked. Punches flying - Manly toughing up, Mata I on Burgess throat followed by melee.

Manly are desperate. Trying everything - some actions not very pleasant.

Manly's 10 minute doze after half time has cost them the game.
That disallowed Manly try a key decision.
A small cluster of players on report.
Very professional performance from Rabbitohs.

On Report for Faioso(?) TWICE for spear on GI. What has anyone to do to get sin binned or Sent Off??

Disappointed with Manly being slow out of the blocks 2nd half but it was probably Souths intensity in the 1st half that caused that drop in their performance. Klein still making mistakes of the important kind but that unfortunately goes for the rest of the Refs, at least Tony Archer has retired!

Can't agree more.

The bloke should at least have been sat on the sidelines for ten minutes.

The sin bin seems to be a forgotten element in the NRL.

Manly should`ve ended up with 11 players on the park. Fa`Aoso is a loose cannon, already been banned for one match for a late (illegal) shoulder charge on Ashley Harrison that caused the Titans player severe concussion, and two spear tackles on Inglis would indicate a ten match ban because Inu got five matches for the same thing on the same player. As for Matai;he`s always been a head hunter and should`ve walked for that hit on George Burgess,Klein saying the tackle went up into George`s mellon. It looked to me like Matai hit George full on the chin,so I can`t see how they let him stay on the park, but then again,Manly and the Broncos usually get off with things other clubs don`t,so we`ll see what happens during the week. No doubt Geoff Toovey will come out with his usual excuses, but as I say,we`ll see what the judiciary think.

Still,it was a cracking game from start to finish along with the two Anzac Day games and we`re only halfway through the round. Good crowds too,the game is looking very healthy Down Under.

Toovey did his usual thing after a game when his players are reported, had a whine about the refs hoping to get the players off when they front the judiciary. Att' DiddyDave - Got news for you, all Manly players are coached to be headhunters, and up until recent times they used to get away with it. Look at Watmough, a prime example, from his Wiki - "In the 3 year period from the start of 2008 season, Watmough was penalised in games 70 times, the most of any player in the NRL."....So glad to see these thugs put in their place by the Bunnies.
