Excellent work by all at the club for the promotional work they've done to get this crowd, which I would hope they would see as a just reward for all their hard work. Now let's keep the buzz going and try to keep people coming through the gates for every game. :D

Credit fax as well for coming in numbers

Unless we play them again this year i doubt we will get anything near that figure when anyone else visits

But our own support must have increased as well and if today doesnt encourage those 'lax' supporters to come back again and again then i am lost as to what will

Heard Brian Barwick and Blake Solly were there today - surely those two must have been impressed allround

I may be wrong on this but I seem to remember in the year we went into administration our average was 4000. Of course it is not only crowd size that matters but how the finances are handled.

Summer era records as per the excellent and cheap machday programme. (page 23)

League 5021   against Wakefield Trinity  28.3.97

Challenge Cup 4165 against Cas  14.4.12

National league cup 6353 against Cas  20.2.05

In the bigger picture of things, as impressive as the result on the pitch was yesterday, I personally think that the crowd number was the most impressive result of the day. :)

Do you mean not on a Sunday, in that last sentence?

2010. Home game on Friday night. Away game Thursday night.
2011 Away game Thursday night, Home game Sunday aft.
2012 Away game Thursday night. Home game Sunday Aft.
2013 Home Sunday aft.

The thing that confused me was that you said Sunday in both sentences at first.
