Macca

I'd help any club, even you lot that had fallen on hard times through bad luck. however Leigh repeatedly overspend, splash the cash on 'big time Charlie's then bleat when they can't meet commitments so no sympathy there. Ultimately they are trying to buy success, until promotion is reintroduced then not sure what any championship club is trying to achieve by doing so.

In reality our beloved sport at lower levels is a commercial disaster and the current plight of Leigh is a result of dwindling attendances generally and the whole sport becoming less attractive.

Take plenty of cash with you lads, the begging buckets will be out in force again

Give your head a shake wobble............Please let me know how many begging buckets will be at York on sunday, I`m pretty sure you will be able to find a suitable adult who can count.

There will be the one single bucket by the turnstiles collecting for the Squadbuilder fund. All other buckets have been commandeered for use in building our new Stadium - which York, as an affluent city and not an industrial estate or kack borough, can afford quite easily.

AndyPK you couldn't be more wrong. Bet your wage bill is higher than ours. Think last year it was 200k or maybe even less. We had to operate last season without the 70k handout from the RFL. Doing it tough right now. CEO stepped down today and one of our directors may have resigned also. I understand though that a new consortium is almost in place.

Sorry folks, no forecast comp this year

Oh hark at you ...condescending herbert. That`s saved me the journey over. Here`s hoping your affluent city attends your games in there 1000`s.

The feelings mutual but I did n`t ask you to contribute to my club, nor will I contribute towards your club via the turnstyle.

Funny how these clubs don't spend any money have decent gates, yet go bust every two years.  B)

I'd have a bet with you it isn't.

Is that: 'Why, are you getting Wed?' or 'Why are you getting Wed?!'

The answers are 'Yes' and 'I've no idea why!'

:D

See Jamie Shaul, Jason Crookes, Dean Hadley & Liam Kent are not in the Hull FC squad this

week, also wonder if Hull lads can play in the NR Cup, assume there might be some rule that

depends on the number of league games they have played for us.

Personally, a big prop would have been very useful this Sunday...

After nearly three weeks off, James Ford’s young Knights are back in action tonight, where they will be looking to continue their good form after an impressive 6-40 victory at Halifax last time out with an equally good performance at home to Leigh Centurions U20′s...

Meanwhile... York City Knights are set to face Leigh Centurions without Jack Lee (knee) and Sam Scott (neck), and captain James Ford is also doubtful after suffering an injury against Hunslet last week.
