Hope so Hawk ,and I'll stay with my prediction that this is one of our toughest remaining home games and will be one where we have to be on our game to the full . Should be a cracker with two improving teams looking up .

yeah i thought that too mate but BH seems to be involved in crack with the other hawk fans in the thread regarding travel.

BH is a Hunslet director I think.

Workington Town. Then. Now. Always.

Hunslet are run by a supporters trust and I think Blackpool Hawk is a trust committee man or similar.    I don't think they have Directors as such but no doubt he will be along to tell us!!

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

No but it's hardly a thread reading like a foregone conclusion is it, nobody's doubting Hunslet are a decent side, but we are too, and if we play well at home we have a good chance of 3 points, we've put on some good home displays this season and with a bit of luck might have done a little better.

Classic spindoctoring there BH. Trying to get the rest of the travelling fans whipped up into a frenzy to help the lads on the pitch along perhaps? You should work at Downing Street, they're ###### at it lol

hes going to be a good un if early showings are anything to go off. finally getting a shot in his proper position at half back. although our other aussie, stack, ranks up with our best imports.

Looking forward to the game and the day, should be 100 of us at least id say, so should be a decent atmosphere!

Not many fetch 100 to our place BH (haven weren't far off  ) look forward to seeing you all. I can only apologise for the optomistic Townies prediction, but most on here have said how tough it's going to be, so I was a bit dissapointed with the post on your forum.

That's the strange thing about being 18th or 19 th man . The rules make sure you end up getting no game at all !! We had this with Petersen last year.
Being in the match day squad can leave you in limbo if you don't make the final cut .

Well it's a sensible change to allow players not in the final 17 to play now , but I'm not sure about actually playing in two games a round , take some superman that !!! Here's hoping then for Lawton .

Very cryptic! If nothing else, it will confuse Hunslet!
