Well, we all know how impermanent boxing retirements are, but maybe the penny's finally dropped for the guy - LINK TO STORY

Absolutely no loss whatsoever to the sport.

Can you imagine him going up against a Klitschko?

A very good amateur boxer, though, I'll give him that.

I'm not really a boxing afficionado, but didn't he step up a weight division on turning pro? Maybe he just couldn't hack the bigger weight division? Or more likely, the pros he faced were able to do their homework on him and pick his weaknesses, whereas the amateurs weren't able to do this so well?

Just a thought.

No; he was a heavyweight as an amateur, and there's no superheavyweight in professional boxing, so he couldn't have stepped up.

Thanks for that. I had forgotten what weight division he boxed in as an amateur.

It has the grim inevitability of an Emili Sandé guest appearance.

She'd probably win.

But that's unlikely to happen, it's not the NRL.

I hope it's all about the money, because if you take what he has said at face value, he is delusionary to almost tragic levels.
