Means no home game at all in May.
By the time we play Whitehaven on May 26th we will of played 5 out of 6 games away from home.
Can't be doing the clubs cash flow problems much good.

I think Fev or Fax would have been the worst. I think it's 4th worst behind Batley. I think biggest concern is cash flow problem. Month without a home game is ridiculous. Surely RFL can work it out better than this.
Can somebody put the full draw on here.

we are the same no home game for month until barrow, meanwhile the jampots now have 4 home games on the belt end with 2 home league games and home cup games. Not their fault but like you say its easy for the rfl see with 2 cup comps on 2 weekends this could always happen

If your team had beaten ours in the Challenge Cup you wouldn't have been writing this sob story H4e, and Town wouldn't have had four home games on the trot.   You forgot to add that those games are followed by an away match on Premier Sports, then Leigh at home, and if we win against Hunslet we could get another home draw in the next round before we have to travel Whitehaven.    On the otherhand we could have been drawn away in both cup games and you would have been laughing your socks off with not a suggestion of any fault by the RFL.    ;)  ;)

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

not like you to defend the rfl fixture planning keith. Its 2 cups one weekend after the other thats the main cause keith so be it haven barrow or any team this coud have happened.Better planning by the rfl is whats required on fixtures as whole, home away home away cant be that hard to do

The league is more important, we were never going to win it anyways. A home tie would of been good as it's an extra home game but at least we can write this game off and focus on other games.
