I agree - it's especially frustrating to hear it referred to as the "Rugby" World Cup, but rugby league only has itself to blame on that score for failing to protect the name of our own tournament, despite having a 30 year head start!
By all accounts, the preparations for "our" world cup this autumn look promising, and are quite ambitious whilst being realistic compared to the 2000. Perhaps the best news has been England matches and the final stages on the BBC at sensible times - hopefully the tournament will gather momentum off this and have a reasonable public profile. Even more so, I hope England rise to the challenge...
The club where Eurovision isn't a dirty word. A waltz through the leopard skin lined world of Tom Jones, Bert Kampfert and Burt Bacharach. Step out to the sound of the happy hammond and swing to the seductive sounds of the samba.
DJ's, raffles, cocktails and wide collars. Please dress smart. Gentlemen might like to wear a suit.
Same price. Same music. Same rubbish prizes.

Bias by who? The BBC??
On the 1.00 News on BBC1 today there was quite a long feature about the Rugby World Cup including venues etc. Rugby League no chance it was about the 2015 RU WC and it's being heralded as the biggest sporting event in this country since the Olympic Games. I think the RFL should make the whole of the media well aware of the RLWC taking place later this year. How are we ever going to compete in view of such bias. It really made my blood boil.
They are showing all of the England games, at least one quarter final, presumably the one England should get to plus the final.
Maybe a semi also, but not sure about that.
Edit....in case there is confusion, I mean all the England games in this years RLWC
