A big signing for Wakefield in more ways than one.

No. He's been playing for the Eels NSW Cup side Wentworthville.

I'd be surprised if he could get a visa. Although Wikipedia says he has 72 appearances since 2008.

Not sure how much the guy has featured as the Paramatta Website is appalling! For balance it's worth noting that Issac John has been named in the Penrith squad for this weekend.  To say he struggled during his time at Wakefield and that the club were very pleased to release him is an understatement.

Pretty B grade signing. Then again, Chase was also considered poor, and he turned out great

Grade B is good, we've been used to much much worse.  Jason Demetriou was grade C/D, and he was one of the finest players that Trinity have had in a generation.

Surely we've plenty of good young prospects in this country without having to fly in a young hopeful from the other side of the world.

It really undermines youth development in the game over here when this is done.

He's aussie born but qualifies for Samoa through descent.
