Real gutsy performance. Was at the game and couldn't work out why all the tries were disallowed, especially Faxes length of the field one.Thought Walshaw was outstanding along with Morton again. Smart thinking in the dying seconds to just push the ball into touch. In days gone by we would have knocked on given head and feed and lost in the last second.Gallagher also looked good tonight, top performance.

Really enjoyed that game. Glad you beat fax. Hopefully we (Batley) can join you and get through to the quarter finals this Sunday.

Ducked out of work early to get the tram to Piccadilly and then train to Dewsbury.

Got delayed interviewing Stevo for tomorrow's 1973 celebration.

Taxi up to the stadium to catch the last 35 minutes of the match.

But the performance I witnessed made it all worthwhile.

So glad I was there to be a part of one of the best moments in recent memory.

I was also there to watch us get spanked at The Shay, which made tonight even sweeter.

Well played lads!

She wore, she wore, she wore an amber ribbon!

What a game, what a result. Well done to all, the players, the Dewsbury faithful who sang their hearts out and to the two Fax fans who shook my hand as they left.

The greatest game? you bet it is.

Great Performance from the Rams tonight, wasn't expecting that tonight. We had quite a few players out,so the victory is even more sweeter, hope to get Batley at home in the next round.

Dont say that theres no reason why it cant be an all Heavy Woollen Final. Then we could both see how much latent support there is in the area.

Fantastic effort from the team tonight. Thought Hyde played really well but the tackling was great. Watkinson very good as well and Gallghers best game yet.

And still with Spicer, Craven, Lillycrop, Jones and Buchanan still out. To be fair thought Halifax were not at their best tonight.

If we can keep this form things are looking better to avoid relegation.

Although this was not a classic game it was the best £15.00 I've spent for some time. Glad I decided to go and support the Rams who showed great resilience and deserved their win. Very well done.
