In the Press today, looked like he had a bit about him before he got injured

last time with us, more importantly, it appears he really wants to play for us,

welcome back Ben

Excellent. He should really be a permanent target imo.

Impressed with how quickly the club have acted on this, a cracking player who wants to be here and he's a York lad to boot. Can't ask for more than that really.

Absolutely! What other York lads are in the pro game at the moment?

Tom Lineham

Peter Fox

Pat Smith (Ed's Brother at Sheffield)

Any more?

Sam Orange is a York lad isn't he? Although he's not strictly "in" the pro game, he's "on" our squad so...

George Elliott - He's from the Swinging capital of North Yorkshire, Easingwold - but I think that counts.

Ross Divorty, he's a York lad if I'm not mistaken.

Jack Stearman - slice him across the middle and he's got York running through him like a stick of rock.

Is Lee Paterson at Haven a York lad ?

Ben Johnston should be a good signing but wish it was a permanent deal not a months loan, we need certainty in the team to get to the end of this season and finish mid table.

One day, couple of years or so, York might be a Super league team and he'll come running.

York City Knights are delighted to announce that half back Ben Johnston has come back to his hometown team on loan from Castleford.

:D

Was on a season loan to the Rams, but we only saw him play maybe two or three times at most for us,don't really understand how players can swap teams during the season when loan deals are in place for the season.

Guess its upto his club if they recall him or not , he wasn't really getting game time at Dewsbury ,so that's prob why Cas pulled him out and let him come to us.
