How do you think the new structures will affect
Orlfc? We basically have no chance of making a Super League 2/Championship. With 2 clubs being relegated from SL and the RFL wanting to reduce the second tier to 12 I'm guess there will be no promotion from CC1 next season. So its either this year or nothing for Oldham

NOTHING

On the pitch we have a chance. We wont go up automatically but when it gets down to places 2 - 7 in the playoffs we can beat anyone of them, as we have done already.

Totally agree. I'm confident we will go up through the Play offs. No one to fear.

Yes, if we all get to as many games as possible between now and the end of the season, support the lads and forget about ownership, takeovers and membership schemes for now, we can get promotion and worry about all these things next season in the championship ! :)

The restructure offers SL1 and SL2 with 12 teams in each Division. Leaving 13 teams for the Championship, of which we will be part of. So if this goes ahead promotion is irrelevant.

Hi Saints10coach, are you saying only one team will be promoted from Championship 1? If so the season is more or less over now, as Crusaders have made such an excellent start. Surely they have to allow two up this year and then possibly correct numbers the following season. Otherwise the playoffs have no significance at all.

It's not going to happen this season but next. So when we get promoted this season we could possibly end up back were we are in the third tier because of the restructure the following year. I think!!!!?

I am afraid the biggest stumbling block is WHITEBANK with regard to promotion .Unless of course winning promotion gets things moving, but that's a bit risky.I would not to win promotion only for it to be taken away because of ground standards.

No. There are currently 14 teams in SL, and 14 teams in the Championship. Therefore down to 10th position in the Championship would form SL1 and SL2. Leaving the rest in the Championship with the Championship 1 clubs.

So, if we got promoted we'd have to finish in the top ten of the championship in 2014 to qualify for SL2. Definitely achievable! :)

. If we were to win the last game of the season it would either force Hamilton's hand or prove once and for all he isn't up to it

I understand the RFL will be attmitting Coventry Bears into the League from next year,  so it will be SL1 and SL2 and a 14 team championship league.

I also heard a long time ago that Mayfield would enter in 2015.
