I've known that for years.  I reckon most of them would like Clause 28 back, bring back hanging, dig up Maggie and have her embalmed and on display in Parliament Square, Cameron is on a loser if he thinks he can change them. The Tory party are the "nasty" -party - always have been always will be. The Labour party on the other hand are the "silly" party except under Blair when (in his latter days)  they became the "scary" party.

Just thinking about that article:

Those MPs behind the alternative legislative programme say it is a “genuine attempt” to show what policies a future Conservative government could deliver.

Thanks for the warning!

I thought it was a Daily Mash spoof at first, but it's way too bonkers.

Then again, Margaret Thatcher day? I quite like the idea of communities all over the country burning effigies of her on bonfires, setting off fireworks etc. Sounds like fun.

And when they found our shadows
Grouped around the TV sets
They ran down every lead
They repeated every test
They checked out all the data on their lists
And then the alien anthropologists
Admitted they were still perplexed
But on eliminating every other reason
For our sad demise
They logged the only explanation left
This species has amused itself to death
No tears to cry no feelings left
This species has amused itself to death
