Much quieter on here than after our previous fixture!

I know, I think you're all mighty relieved that we didn't do the double over you!
It's good to win at home, but it's better to win away!

I would say that if any player under performs at home he should not be given the chance of playing away at the home of the top of the league. That isn't big time charlie player, that is good coaching imho. He was dropped, he didnt just not play. Also, we were never going to beat them away, but were always going to pick up injuries, so punishment/protection is even better coaching.

Nobody expects to beat Fev at Postage-stamp Road. We didn't expect to beat you at York, and you never expected to be beaten - it was just those extra 20 yards you couldn't quite get to grips with...

Should we have played our star halfback even though he's been lacklustre at home? Should we have played him at the top of the league and expected league champions' house? Should we have played him at the expected league champions' house now the Anti-Tamper egg timer has run out?

"Yeah, you've been ###### recently mate despite your wage, but don't worry, you can show yourself off at Fev even though it's a nothing match and they might give you a contract for next year before the end of this season so you have no incentive to be anything but ###### for us on your wage for the rest of your contract."

I feel our Coach has made an outstanding decision.

And anyway, he'd have got mullered at your place and we'd be without our star halfback completely for the rest of the season while we fight against those that could see us relegated. We're not going to place above Featherstone, so why risk relegation in a pointless fight? We don't all have the resources Fev have - hence the Winger at fullback, hence the trialist-from-a-different-game on the wing, hence your 2nd row being bigger than our front row - we can't risk players when we haven't realistically got anyone to fill their position.

What's the story with Browny , apparently dropped , hope he's not going all big times Charlie on us , we've had enough of them this season

Also missed training last week & turned up late for another session so right decision by the coaching

staff for me.

Game itself, proud of the effort the lads put in, fell away at the end, but got to remember that

Lyons & Browne went off & couldn't come back due to injury, so less interchanges on a hot day

against class opposition.

We miss the next 2 games due to holidays, which will mean we will get 6 points (hopefully)...

Luke Stenchion got 2 matches and a £50 fine for his "mis-judged" tackle: http://www.therfl.co...inary/item?4491
