Haven't watched it on tv. The spider cam is absolutely brilliant how it's used. It's attached to 4 wires of what appears just string it's incredible, I hope it looks good on the Tele.

Also it was mentioned in the ground that magic weekend was the third biggest trend in the UK on twitter. Not a bad effort IMO.

Looking forward to today.

I like the spidercam, but I think they are over using it. It's good for a few seconds at a time but we've been left way behind play when a few breaks have been made and they have stayed with it for 10 seconds or so.

I do hope they continue to use it for the bigger games though.

Agreed. Far too much use, and far too many replays generally. I also thought the constant checking rules with Stuart Cummings detracted from the action as well. As usual on Sky, there's far too much emphasis on the ref and the penalties, and not enough talking up the action itself.

well thank god that its over, sick to death of hearing about referees,

im sure i watched  some good games but i cant quite remember because i was blinded by all the referee ######,

any first timers watching this magic weekend will only remember it because of the referees and not the actual play, probably the worst magic weekend (coverage wise) i can think of. :sclerosis:

EDIT: apart from the new camera angles, both were good. just a shame we cant here the vid ref on sky like we can on prem sports and BBC, cmon sky sort it out!!!

EDIT again: as for stevo constantly going against what stuart cummings was explaining (correctly), is just damn right embarrassing!
