Just reading that Rodney Pora has had to return home as his son is in intensive care.    Hope everything works out okay for him and his family at this worrying time.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.

We've all had a bit of banter on here at Rodneys expense, but I'm sure every single Town fan will be hoping and praying that things turn out okay for him and his family. Surely puts losing a game of Rugby League into perspective. Best of luck mate.

Yep I echo all of the above sentiments and hope there is a positive outcome for the big fella and his family.
The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!
