It seems from an article in one Sunday paper that Danny is awaiting surgery for Prostate cancer.
Best wishes on a speedy recovery.

The only man in Swinton history(or as long as I've watched them) who it has been worth paying money for to watch him on his own!! Such a talented player and I wish him well in his battle against yet another "enemy" that can be defeated!!!

Outstanding player. Get well soon Danny. You could still pull on a Swinton top and turn out for us any day in my book!

He was worth the admission fee alone. Those of us lucky enough to see him play will never forget the memories.

Maybe someone could organise a get well soon card/cards so that we can our best wishes and let him know he's still fondly remembered by Swinton fans?

You would be good at that Dave, in your capacity as Swinton's finest postie, ensuring promopt delivery.

If we have an address for him (which I'm sure we have somewhere) maybe the Supporters' Trust could organise a huge card to be signed at Sunday's home match against Halifax (say put on a table near the Golden Gamble). Just a thought?

I'm pretty sure the club doesn't have any contact details for Danny Wilson.Seems that Ryan isn't in contact with his father so maybe Rhodri Giggs would be the best point of contact.I believe he lives locally and the newspaper article suggests he is in touch with Danny.

Get well soon Danny.
