Not a good result for us last night, need to do the business Sunday so please really get behind

the lads (in our holiday absence) for the next 2 home games & help make a difference.

Bit in Press today, Matt Nicko might make it back for last 6 games, but Jason Golden has had

his shoulder op & will not play again this season - sounds like we are talking to Jason for next

season, but on reduced money.

Commitment,Desire, are two words that come to mind, but above all a will to win not just to turn up and go through the motions, can we get back to winning games,it seems the heads go down when we get behind and the motivation then disappears, lets see some smart rugby from the Knights.

And that's just the fans...

If we all turned up and put our vocal chords on the line for 80 minutes and we all stuck together and played as a team instead of playing one man rugby fan and we all did those things we eexpect of our players....

But when we don't even win our bit of the game in the stands, sometimes barely even turning up....?

No wonder eh...

Very good performance today, thought the three Hull DR players went well and Freer had what must be his best game in a Knights shirt, his off load for Lees try was excellent. Young Ben ran the show in the first half but was quiet in the second, Browns kicking game was back to it's best.  All in all a well deserved three points

Well done to the Knights today, really ran hard and defensively looked solid most of the game and we were putting players down hard instead of just patting them, plus in the game when we were up and playing the ball quickly they struggled. Nice to see a 'proper' scrum half in our side, plenty of guile, strength and pace to trouble teams, wish the off load from Sully was pulled back as Johnston would have scored a 4th try.

For Donny their No.7 looked a decent if at times dirty player and Cooky still has a great rugby brain, nice kicking and slings out a lovely flat pass, remember Emmett from his Rams days and Castle look a half decent forward, they were blowing out of their ar@@@ by 60mins in and thought we might have hit 50. I can see why Donny have run teams close but we should be better than them come season end.

Superb to a man today, everyone of the 17 played with confidence and total commitment.
Donny were awful, no ideas at all, but saying that we never gave them time to play and Cooke was a passenger not like two weeks ago when he could have played in his slippers.

Big game next week, lets hope we can keep the same 17 if Sam is ok, a win next week will just give us a bit of breathing space.
Well done again.

Hmm"Ithink if the fans were to see the team play every week like today, you would get far less moaning and groaning from the stands,we deserved the win today, the team deserved the win today, long may it continue, then you never know fans may even return to the greatest show on earth,"when we get it right".

I agree, moaning n groaning is one thing but some of the abuse that comes from some "fans" when the chips are down is just bile.  One started today after Waterman's try, like he does every game after only minutes few, shallow g*t anyway!  For me support when winning or losing, have a moan if not happy but at least let the game start and cut the bile and insults out.  Some good stuff today, Donny never turned up but let's not get over confident and start lapsing.  We've had days like that and can easily again if not careful.  Close for all out of top 5!!

Donny reminded me of our teams away performances, but fair play to our lads who were quickly up in their faces thus stifling many of their plays.

After a nervous start it was good to see some fast flowing rugby with the lads BACKING EACH OTHER UP.

As has been mentioned next week is another massive game but just as important for me is the ability to nick bonus points away from home, as Donny may eventually rue on missing out today. In such a close division these points could prove crucial at the business end.

WELL DONE EVERYBODY.
