Just been told matty brooks has left skirlaugh and gone back to east hull, good signing if true? With Ian Kerman also signing a couple of weeks back plenty of competition for places down at easts

I saw him watching on sat at west hull game think he's still good friends with a lot of them, will defiantly make them stronger very good player he didn't play that many games for skirlaugh anyway

Can only think brown for east hull, also Chris stiv hull Dockers, Myton Dunham brothers ash James fewless brothers altho lee has just gone to Gateshead, west hull Paul Shaw dean Thompson , probs many more I guess having 5 hull teams in prem gives players options

I'm sure Dean Thompson was at Hull Boys Club at youth level

Ashley James was at West Hull as a youngster he played alongside Joe Mclocklan and Aaron Spaven who have only played at West Hull as amatuers.

How many lads from NCL clubs played for the old Cottigham Phoenix? I remember them getting to some Grand Final afew years back

It's pretty standard to get a lot of movement in Hull obviously due to having 5 prem teams. I don't think many of the teams have players who have gone right through their age groups, also if a team is top heavy on certain positions players will move in order to increase their chances of a game in top flight.


I have always thought if Hull only had 1 prem team it would be a difficult team to beat. Hull is a hotbed of talent in the amateur game as can be seen with West Hull & Skirlaugh A teams sitting at the top in the Yorkshire Mens Premier League.

Theres too many to pick from, lots and lots of young talented players, and a few older ones still doing it isn't there rollman!
