2013 BCRL domestic Season kicked off Friday night in the famous Stanley Park, Vancouver.

Vancouver Dragons hosted Richmond Bears.

It was a closely fought battle the saw the Bears come away with a 28-16 win.

This weekend sees Vancouver Dragons travel to Kelowna Crows and the hot fixture is between the 2013 favourites Sea to Sky Eagles as they host the 2012 Premier Champions Surrey Beavers in what could be a preview of the 2013 Grand Final.

Eagles win 12-10 after an extremely tough B's physical showcase.

Chris Chalmers wa playing for Surrey and looked solid and strong making big yards when ever he got the ball.

Thanks for that s2s. You obviously know that Chris and Graham Dobbs were at Hull last year, hence my interest in how they're both going.

Yup. Chris is a great player and a great guy. Bags of potential to go far in Rugby League for sure.

Canada is some what of an untapped market for potential League super stars. The game suits them much better than Union, now it's down to convincing them! Ha ha.

Will post the link from Sats game when it's up and ready.

I thought the idea was to have two young Canadians come over to Hull each season?
