I'm posting a message to check that copies of League Express are out in the shops on Monday mornings in West Cumbria, despite some shops being shut on Monday in a Bank Holiday week.

Can anyone confirm that this week's edition was available in those shops that were open?

Many thanks,

Martyn

Martyn my local newsagents in Seaton had the paper in on Monday morning as usual.     In the past there has been problems at times before they get to West Cumbria, usually if they arrive late at Carlisle and miss the van down to our area but that hasn't happened (touch wood) for quite awhile now.

I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimension, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave Hadfield - Independent 25th August 1996.
